The goal of this research is to understand how teachers’ attitudes about science, technology, engineering and math vary between different countries. Understanding these cultural differences will help the Center for Engineering Education and Outreach, and educators all over the world, to better share information, techniques, and research across borders.

We have developed a short survey to investigate these attitudes, which we will be sending to teachers in many different countries. The survey is available in six different languages: Bahasa Indonesia, German, English, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese and Chinese. This section of the website shares a highlight from our literature review and information about our pilot study.

  • Literature Review – some of the highlights from our literature research
  • Pilot – initial data which was collected to refine our survey

We are currently in the data collection phase. After analyzing the results, a new page will be added to this site to share our findings.
